The Jalon Valley and the Costa Blanca

Covered in orange groves, almond trees and grape vines, the Jalon Valley offers picturesque views and great wine tasting! The Moorish influence, from their 5th centuary rule is still apparent in the terraced land and the local fiestas.

Murla is a traditional village just a few minutes away, where fresh bread is available every morning. The slightly larger villages of Parcent, Orba and Alcalali offer small stores, tapas bars, bodegas and restaurants.

Jalon is the largest local village, with an excellent Saturday market full of unusual antiques, local crafts and traditional stalls.

The Costa Blanca has over 40 beaches and coves within a 45 minutes drive, the closest in Denia are just a 20 minute drive away. Calpe and Javea are both popular holiday destinations with plenty of beaches, shopping and other amenities, whilst Altea and Guadalest are attractive and unusual towns to visit.
